There was some remarkable Bank Holiday Monday action in yesterday’s Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League with no fewer than seven centuries being hit. Meanwhile no fewer than 7 of the 19 Premier & County 1 teams(apart from already relegated Rosudgeon) go into the final weekend threatened by relegation. St Just need just one point to retain their title following an amazing batting performance at Falmouth. The openers Dewayne Bowden made 161 not out and David Roberts 152 not out as St Just totalled 325 for 0 declared in 52 overs.Falmouth drew the game ending on 252 for 4 with Sean Hooper making 116 not out. Hayle won a dramatic last gasp win at home to Grampound Road to keep alive their survival hopes. Needing 158 they won by just one wicket with just 2 balls to spare. It means one of 3 teams - Hayle, Camborne or Falmouth will be relegated on the final weekend. Truro made 323-4 at home to Camborne with Jon Kent and Tom Sharp making hundreds. Camborne drew the game with Daniel Stephens also making a century in their total of 200 for 8. Werrington’s Matt Robins made 139 in the total of 246-9 at Newquay who drew with 206 for 7. In County Division 1 Paul won the title with a game to spare after a 99 run win at home to Rosudgeon At the bottom one of four teams, Troon, Redruth , St Gluvias or Launceston - still face the drop in what promises to be a dramatic final weekend. Results All Divisions See homepage for scorecards

The Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League's Management Committee have extended the ECB Cornwall Premier League season into September to allow St Just to complete their programme against Camborne and Grampound Road respectively. The clubs are to agree suitable dates. In the interests of Cornish Cricket the LMC were fully supportive of the efforts of St Just to reach the National Club Championship (Cockspur Cup) Final at Lord's. In fairness to all clubs there is one proviso however, bearing in mind the new points average from games started format in this year's Premier League. The rearranged games can only be cancelled on the day, without play due to unsuitable conditions, by the match umpires and not the clubs themselves.
The venues for this season's Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League's East v West County Finals on Saturday 9th September (1pm) are: Division 2 at Hayle, Division 3 at Lanhydrock, Division 4 at Perranporth, Division 5 at Wadebridge and Division 6 at Redruth.
St Just's weather delayed Cockspur Cup semi-final at Bromley has meant their Jolly's Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League game at Grampound Road on Saturday has been postponed. In order to allow time for travel after the match St Just suggested starting the game at 10.30am but with a number of players working on Saturday morning Grampound Road, though sympathetic with St Just's situation, were unfortunately unable to accept the offer. No new date has been confirmed for the game yet. On the only remaining Sunday (27th August) prior to the scheduled last Saturday of the season Grampound Road are already committed to a floodlight game versus 'A Cornwall XI' on their ground. St Just's game with Camborne from last Saturday is also still outstanding. The League Management Committee are scheduled to meet this week where the matter will be discussed. The original game at Bromley, Kent on Sunday (13th) was called off around 9.30am on the day due to a waterlogged ground after heavy rain in the area over the weekend and rescheduled for the reserve day of Sunday 20th August
