The 2.8 million pound ECB funded project, with the Cornwall Cricket Board & Truro College in partnership, was completed in June 2009.

An official opening by ECB Chairman Giles Clarke DL was held on 3rd December 2009 with former England test bowler Andrew Caddick in attendance.

The facility is the most state of the art in the country with high quality specifications of flooring and lighting installed. There are five bays, upstairs and downstairs viewing areas, meeting rooms, a lift, toilets and offices.

The Cornwall Cricket Development Officer Joe Skinner is based at the centre.
