March 2011

The Cornwall Cricket Board has recently held four Club Development Road shows starting in Penwith and progressing up to the Tamar District. In all we had 32 clubs attending with over 60 volunteers. The purpose of the roadshows was to provide assistance in how to identify volunteers, funding through activities such as Natwest Cricket Force and the Cornwall 'V' Manager programme.

Please see the information below about the VManager programme which Cornwall Cricket Board will be delivering.

Please use this information including further documents that have been upload onto the web site to help your club achieve their potential.

The ‘Know Your Volunteers’ documents is a great tool to firstly identify the roles that you would like within the club.

The Roles Descriptions are also available to you and these can be promoted to your club members and also to the wider community including colleges, volunteer centres.

The ECB vCricket programme also recognises and rewards young people (aged up to 25 years) in cricket for the contribution they make through voluntary hours.
