Berkshire at St Austell 19-21 August       Match Scorecard

Following Sunday's wash out the second day of Cornwall’s Minor Counties Championship game with Berkshire at St Austell has also been abandoned without a ball being bowled, due to heavy rain. With conditions at Wheal Eliza unlikely to be fit for Day 3 either the umpires have agreed to switch the game to Truro Cricket Club, where a one innings game is scheduled for 11am

Having been set 136 in around 48 overs Cornwall's top order collapses against the seam bowling of Tom Lambert being at one stage 29 for 6.

They were bowled out for 60 in just 28 overs with an hour of the game to go.

Day 1 Cornwall staged a recovery on the first day of their Minor Counties Championship match with Devon at Budleigh Salterton At one stage Cornwall were 119 for 6 but Matt Robins made 93 and Justin Stephens 53 (120 for 6th wicket) to boost the total to 282 all out. Devon were 75 for 2 at the close with Ryan Driver taking both wickets

Gary Thomas & Neil Ivamy replaced the injured Joe Crane and Kelvin Snell.

Cornwall's Minor Counties Championship game with Shropshire at Shifnal finally got underway this morning after a wash out on Sunday and Monday. After torrential rain in the West Midlands caused severe flooding problems on Monday it looked like the game might have been a total washout but, remarkably, a one innings game got underway at 11am in cold but dry conditions. On a wet pitch Shropshire are batting first.
