Rory Coutts saved the day for the home club. 45 were needed from 5 overs and 10 off the last. With two twos off the last two balls Newquay got home having lost nine wickets in a tied game to the ten wickets of Gorran. Coutts ended on 52 not out. Rob Daniel took 3 for 37.
