John Brain the best of the St Austell bowlers in his 5 overs taking 2 - 20. In reply St Austell lost captain M.Ellison run out without scoring, then the partnership of the match featuring D.Jarman and C.Richards 96 for the 2nd wicket had Grampound on the back foot but with the fall of Jarman for 53 and the new St Austell batsman unable to continue the momentum the pendulum swing in Grampounds favour St Austell finishing on 139 -7.Craig Richards 53 not out
