Final at St Austell on Tue 31 July Full Scorecard

Werrington 107-8 (A Hodgson 28, M Hodgson 22no, M Robins 15; C Roberts 3-30, M Pearce 2-25), Grampound Road 105-6 M Pearce 34, M Sekhoto 29, C Roberts 16no; A Smeeth 3-20, B Smeeth 2-37). Werrington beat Grampound Road by 2 runs.

Werrington won the Clive Rosevear Insurance Hawkey Cup for the third time in a thriller at St Austell . They defeated Grampound Road by just two runs. Needing 108 the 'Road' reached the last over, bowled by Alex Smeeth, needing 13 to win. Nine came off the first four balls but Smeeth held his nerve to concede a single then in a dramatic finale had Ryan Van Wyk stumped off the last ball. Martin Pearce had led the reply with 34 and Mpho Sekhoto hit 29. Man of the match Alex Smeeth took three for 30 and Ben Smeeth two for 37.

Earlier the Hodgson brothers Adam (28) and Mark (22no) made the bulk of Werrington's 107 for 8 after they lost their first three wickets for 23. Chris Roberts took three for 30 and Martin Pearce two for 25. Werrington meet St Just at Truro for the W.T. Edwards Cup on Thursday 9th August at 5.45pm.  

Both semi-finals were washed out on Wed 20th June,Wed 27 June and Wed 4 July

Wadebridge v Werrington (at Callington) was played on Wed 11 July   Result

Grampound Road v Newquay (at St Austell) Wed 11 July was postponed to Tuesday 17th July at 6pm ,

Semi Final switched to Grampound Road on 17 July at the fifth attempt
