There was some dramatic action in yesterday's Jolly's Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League. A tremendous game at Menheniot saw over 600 runs scored with the home team defeating Truro by 2 wickets after a magnificent run chase. The game at Falmouth was equally dramatic with the home team winning by just two runs as Werrington lost their last six wickets for 25 runs. St Just are the new leaders after a 4 wicket win at Champions Newquay while Grampound Road are well placed in third after a 70 run win at Troon.

Steve Williams was 141 not out in their 307-4. The ‘Road’ were dismissed for 102. Troon won by 9 wickets at Werrington, who were bowled out for 180 with Ian Osborne taking 7-45.
