St Just won the Bradleys Vinter Cup for a record fourth successive year at Camborne when they overcame Troon by seven wickets with 20 balls to spare. Troon after being put in found themselves in all sorts of trouble at 17 for 5 in the eighth over with man of the match Nick George claiming three for 10. They recovered to 91 all out in the last over through Darren Pascoe, who made a hard hit 25 off 18 balls, and 21 from Gavin Tregenza. Mark George took three for 21. St Just had few problems with David Roberts (39) and Neil Curnow (21) putting on 57 in 11 overs. Steve Eddy picked up two for 19 towards the end.

Troon 91 (D Pascoe 25, G Trengenza 21; N George 3-10. M George 3-21),

St Just 92-3 (D Roberts 39, N Curnow 21; S Eddy 2-19). St Just beat Troon by seven wickets and will meet the winners of the Hawkey Cup Grampound Road v Werrington (now playing 26 July) at Truro CC on date to be announced.

Hayle after losing Wayne Jenkin & Mark Jenkin with only a single on the board recovered through Paul Lello's 33. St Just powered to victory in only 12.4 overs without losing a wicket. David Roberts' 75 came off 47 balls on a grey, cold and very windy 'summers' evening.
