Vinter Cup Final at Camborne C C 16th July

Full card

St Just made it five wins in a row in a one sided Vinter Cup Final at Camborne. They demolished Falmouth by nine wickets with almost seven overs to spare. Falmouth, got off to a bad start losing Adrian Noott run out in the first over. Nick George then struck twice to get rid of Stefan Churcher and Richard Kellow. It was Mark George that wrecked their innings however. He returned the excellent figures of six for 21 from his five overs to earn the man of the match award. Antony Angove batted well making 23 before being sixth out with the score at 58. Jon Udy hit 20 off 16 balls at the end but the 92 all out was never likely to be enough. To prove the point St Just had 74 on the board in only the tenth over before losing Neil Curnow for 42. David Roberts ended on 35 not out and Gary Thomas 10 not out as the cup headed west for the seventh time in eight years. St Just now meet St Austell at St Austell in the Edwards Cup Final next Wednesday (6pm).
