AGM held on Thursday 25th November 2010 at Cornwall Cricket Centre. 7.00 pm.

The Secretary reported on significant happenings in the last year including courses which have just taken place and the two UKCC2 courses which are happening over this winter, also the increase in membership. Relevant officers were elected to the committee. Chairman – Sean Hooper, taking over from Adrian Noott who was thanked by all those present, Secretary – Marilyn Richards, Treasurer – Rob Harrison, taking over from Mrs Beverley Mitchell who was also thanked by the members present. Tim Marrion resigned as Tutor Representative – with the post still to be filled, all other committee members remained the same. The President, Mr Mike Buzza was re-elected. During any other business there was considerable discussion with the regard to possible mentoring of coaches to upskill them and ways in which this could be done voluntarily. After the close of the meeting the new Chairman held an informal discussion session for all those who wished to stay with regard to key areas to be focused on in future. As a result of this discussion we would like to ask all coaches to register with the Get Coaching database before the 24th December, 2010. The link is as follows: http://www.getcoachingcornwall.co.uk/cricket The site will benefit coaches by keeping them updated of opportunities and notifying them when relevant courses become available to them, along with many other advantages. Cornwall Coaches Association are hosting Chris Taylor for a fielding Masterclass on the 16th February 2012 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

The Venue is the Cricket Centre at a cost of £20.00 per person.
