At the LMC meeting of 23 July 2009, the Committee agreed, under Rule 6.1.2, to temporarily suspend Rule 19.7.2 for season 2009 as, despite all reasonable efforts, some County 1 clubs have been unable to play re-arranged matches within 29 days as required by Rule 19.7.2. Therefore all matches postponed up to 17 July 2009 must now be played as soon as possible on or before the completion date (13 September 2009) for this season. In accordance with Rule 19.7.3, any re-arranged matches not played on or before 13 September 2009 will be null and void with no points awarded to either side."

A showery day saw a postponement, abandonment and delayed starts with all but the games at Gorran and Redruth affected by the weather.
