A Cricket Umpires & Scorers training course will commence on Tuesday 10th January 2006 at Truro Cricket Club  and continue on the following eight successive Tuesdays. The 2 hour sessions start at 7.30pm.

Trainees will be taken through all 42 Laws of Cricket with particular emphasis placed on those appertaining to our 'recreational' game. The computer generated presentation will enable participants to gain a much clearer uderstanding and interpretation of the Laws. At the end of the course, attendees have option to sit the new GL6 qualifying examination or, if already passed, the higher level GL5.

There is no charge to attend the course, although participants will need to purchase a copy of ' Tom Smith's new Umpiring & Scoring' book and also, to meet the examination fees. This book can be purchased from any good bookshop (approx. £9.99) or ordered at the course registration session. If you have any questions or queries, please contact one of the CCUA training instructors: John Middleton (01209 832286) or Vic Hassell (01208 871122).
