Cancelled Games

All Cornwall Cricket League clubs are reminded that the notification of games cancelled due to the weather need to be informed to the press by phone or email - see results page for details (just as results on the evening of games). It cannot be assumed that all games have been cancelled as even on the worse of days it has been known for a few games to be played such are the various different weather patterns across the County.

Official result sheets must also be completed and sent to the result secretary - Mike Evans or Nick Banks. Fines apply for results not sent in.

Notice to ALL clubs re: ECB Team sheet

1. ECB team sheet cards must now be completed for every CCL match played. This is to be undertaken by person responsible for the team.

2. Completed cards, duly signed, to be passed to panel or club umpires officiating the match before the 'toss' takes place. At the end of the match, the cards, together with the Results sheet, to be posted to the Results Secretary.

3. Where no appointed umpires officiate, persons responsible for the two teams to check cards have been completed and duty signed before the 'toss' takes place. At end of match, the captain or representative of the home team to take possession of both cards and ensure that they, together with the Results sheet, is posted to the Results Secretary.
