Cockspur Cup: Henley beat Totton (173-8) by 5 wickets at Burnham (Bucks) due to Henley's ground being flooded by the River Thames. Henley are now at home to St Just next Sunday 5th August in the quarter finals. The Grampound Road v St Just Premier League game on Saturday has been brought forward to 11am to enable St Just to travel in the evening.
Cornwall captain Tom Sharp has been honoured by being named captain of the Minor Counties Representative XI for their two games at Trowbridge C C versus the M C C on 16th August & Victoria C.A. ( Emerging Cricketers XI ) the following day.
Following the tragic death of Derek Newman of Porthleven Cricket Club during a Cornwall Cricket League game last Saturday the League Management Committee are requesting that a minute's silence be observed before all League games this Saturday (28th July).
The Clive Rosevear Insurance Hawkey Cup final Grampound Road v Werrington at St Austell C C , postponed on Thursday evening, has been rearranged for Tuesday 31st July (5 30pm). The W T Edwards Cup Final (St Just v the winners) has been further moved back to Thursday 9th August at Truro C C (6pm)

The Clive Rosevear Insurance Hawkey Cup semi-final Grampound Road v Newquay which was rescheduled for a fifth time at St Austell on Tuesday evening has been switched to Grampound Road due to a wet ground at St Austell. (if wet Wednesday).
The Clive Rosevear Insurance Hawkey Cup Final has been put back a week to Thursday19th July at St Austell at 6pm. The semi-finals (Grampound Road v Newquay at St Austell and Wadebridge v Werrington at Callington) will be attempted to be played for a fourth time on Wednesday 11th July at 6pm.
