Holmans 2nds withdraw from Division 5 West

Due to player shortage Holmans Seconds have withdrawn from Division 5 West of the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall League. They had yet to play any games this season. The number of competing teams is thus reduced to 173 teams in the League from 81 clubs.

Boconnoc C C forced to make contingency fixture arrangements

The Foot and Mouth crisis has had serious repercussions for Boconnoc Cricket Club near Lostwithiel. Their Deer Park ground on the picturesque Fortescue Estate has been deemed out of bounds until June at least. Boconnoc's opening Division 1 East fixture has been switched to St. Minver a day later - Sunday 29th April. The Bank Holiday Monday game has been switched to Werrington a day earlier on Sunday 6th May and the Wadworth 6X National Village Competition 2nd Rd tie against South Petherwin on 13th May will be played at Werrington 3rd XI's ground. The home match versus Roche on 19th May will now be played at Roche on Sunday 20th and the Hawkey Cup tie has been switched to Looe's ground on Wed 23rd May.
