Last year the Federation of UK Sports and Russell Grant's charity SportsWISE organised and ran the inaugural NATIONAL CLUB 20/20 CRICKET COMPETITION, the "SportsWISE UK20s". From 150 entries we ended with a superb finals day at the Rose Bowl in September, with Welwyn Garden City CC beating Finchley CC to win the Russell Grant Cup after two keenly fought and close semi-finals. Alton CC and Droitwich Spa CC were gallant losers and played their part in a fantastic day. This year we want to go one better and have set up the competition to include all levels of clubs, women’s teams and universities and hope to bring the schools in next year. With the addition of sponsorship, we want to reward clubs for their efforts in this charity tournament. Clubs will also have the opportunity to raise money for themselves during the tournament. We have teamed up with Cricket World magazine and CricketWorld.com to provide us with all registration and entry details on their web page and I would ask you to fill in all the details for us to register and log your clubs entry to the competition.

CricketWorld.com have a designated UK20s section which will provide information on fixture, results and news. We will be providing further information over the winter on their web pages as the numbers of teams grows. We will also be having a clubs focus section with stories from you about your players and your clubs.
