Cornwall Womens Indoor Cricket League 2003

The final of the Cornwall Womens Indoor Cricket League was played at Truro College on Sunday 20th May 2003, between Falmouth and Rosudgeon A. The league was run on a 6 a side basis, with 8 overs per innings.

The final saw Rosudgeon bat first and make 82 off their 8 overs. Falmouth passed the score with one ball remaining, with Claire Williamson scoring the winning runs.

The Falmouth squad of Helen Angove, Taryn Penock, Claire Williamson, Sue Leathley, Angie Beatton, Doreen Varker and Heather Andrew had previously beaten Rosudgeon B and St Just in their group matches and Truro in the semi-final.

Other teams competing in the league were Tideford and Newquay. The final was the culmination of a busy winter for womens cricket.
