Rules

 

1. Each game will consist of 35 overs per innings

2. Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 1/5 of the total overs bowled i.e. 7 of 35 overs

3. 10 points for an outright win (plus bonus points), 7 points each for a draw (plus bonus points)

4. 1 BATTING point shall be scored for the first 30 runs and one point for each subsequent 30 runs up to a total of 150 (max 5 points) Also, 1 point shall be scored by a WINNING team batting 2nd for every 2 wickets left standing at the end of the game, providing the total of batting points does not exceed 5

5. 1 BOWLING point shall be scored for every 2 wickets taken. If the side cannot bat a full 11, then the bowling side gains the maximum of 5 points when all wickets are taken

6. 20 points for opposition 'no show or no side'

7. 6 points + bonus points for abandonment

8. 10 points per team, for games not played by mutual consent, weather etc

9. One fixture date only, home or away (Unless otherwise agreed by the committee)

10. Normal Cricket rules apply thereafter i.e. 1 for a wide plus 1 extra ball

The Result sheet must be signed and completed at the end of the Game, by an official from each Club. The Home team are then RESPONSIBLE for sending this in, to arrive no later than the Wednesday following the fixture, with a fine applicable if this does not arrive.
