14th September the 8 a side club tournament held at Truro Cricket Club was won by Rosudgeon

Sunday 7th September

Rosudgeon v St Neot. St Neot all out for 24. Kerry Matthews once again bowling superbly 4-2-3-4. F Nicholls 5-1-7-2. M Rowe 3-1-8-1 and K Renfree 3.4-1-4-1. Rosudgeon past the score in the 5th over Natasha Weeks 18 not out. These two results mean Rosudgeon retain the league title having been unbeaten all season.

Saturday 6th September

Rosudgeon v Falmouth. Falmouth batted first and were all out for 69. Sue Leathley 22. The Rosudgeon bowlers shared the wickets with an outstanding performance from 12 year old Kerry Matthews. K Matthews 5.2-1-15-3, R Eustice 7-3-9-2, M Rowe 7-3-12-1, V Searle 3-2-2-1, F Nicholls 7-3-19-1 and A Jewell 5-0-11-2. Rosudgeon past the score for the loss of 2 wickets. E Pascoe 25 not out and N Weeks 20 not out. T Pennock 3-0-17-1 and D Jones 6-0-38-1. Rosudgeon win by 8 wickets.

Newquay v St Austell. St Austell 138 for 6. L Brader 3 for 26. Newquay 142 for 3 off 31 overs. G Phillips 52 n o. R Drew 37.

Newquay v Rosudgeon. Rosudgeon 138 for 3. N Weeks 38 n o, R Eustice 29, J Pascoe 23. L Bradder 7-0--18-1, H Grice 7-0-21-1, G Phillips 7-0-39-1. Newquay 46 all out. Rosudgeon bowling figures. K Renfree 7-2-12-4, F Nicholls 7-1-11-2, R Eustice 3-1-2-2. K Matthews 5-2-4-1. Rosudgeon won by 92 runs.

Truro v Rosudgeon. Rosudgeon made 153 for 5 off their 35 overs. The captain Rachael Eustice put in an excellent performance on a very hot day to make 49 not out. Emma Pascoe 28. Adele Jewell 27. Angela Lewis 3 for 13. Truro were all out for 60. Rachael Eustice completing an excellent day with 5 wickets for 4 runs. Melissa Rowe 2 for 4. Adele Jewell 1 for 4 and Kerry Matthews 1 for 6. Rosudgeon won by 93 runs.

St Austell v St Neot. St Neot made 150 for 9. Alex Westlake 52. J Tamblyn 28. G Sleep 20. K Spencer 2 for 12, C Sydney 2 for 9, H Matthews 2 for 17, J Machin 2 for 40. St Austell 129 for 7. Sunday saw the start of the Cornwall Women's League the only game that was played was Falmouth v St Just.
