The administration of Youth Club Cricket in Cornwall saw a major change with the formation of a single body to administer the game countywide with competition being organised and played in the various districts. The West Cornwall and East Cornwall Youth Cricket Leagues were both formally dissolved during the autumn of 2001. Competition is now administered by a countywide executive committee but played on a district basis. For the 2004 season the six districts in Cornwall were replaced by a four district set up.
